Alborz is a mountain range that starts from northeast to northwest of Iran and southern of the Caspian Sea. This mountain range is divided into Western, Central, and Eastern Alborz Mountains. Mount Damavand, the highest mountain in Iran and the Middle East, is located in the Central Alborz Mountains. The central part of Alborz includes many 4000m peaks suitable for ski touring also because of plenty of snow in the winter is include big ski resorts like Dizin, Darbandsar, Tochal, Shemshak.

Tour Details

Your tour starts in the first day, at Tehran (IKA or anywhere in Tehran) about 09:00am and end in the afternoon of the eights day. Alborz mountain is a perfect place for doing ski in the winter. According to the climate and weather our tour guide will decide, which summit is better for skiing.

We’ve selected one of the best mountain climbers and Skiers guides for this program because only a highly professional guide should accompany you in this hard tour.

What to Expect

It is our mission to make you ready to do ski in 8 days in important peaks of Alborz mountain.

We do our best to serve you by our catering services. Delicious,nutritious and healthy foods will be served during your sportive trip.

Normal local guides and professionals are very different in their prices and quality. The guide cost is the main part of the total cost, but we decided to use the bests of Iran, as we are sportspeople and we know the difference.

Itinerary

Day 1Ski in Tochal 3960-meter high

We will greet you at IKA and transfer you to Tochal ski resort. With a lift chair go up to the last station. After one hour walk, we will reach to the top of Tochal. Then, we ride down the north face of Tochal to the Igol village. Overnight at a local house.

Day 2Ski in Abak 3500-meter high

Full-day ski tour in the middle of Alborz. Abak located in Shemshak resort one of the best resorts in Alborz.
Our overnight is at a local house.

Day 3Full day ski tour in Alborz

We will drive to Afjeh and Dasht-e Havij and a full-day ski tour in the area. The mountains which we have chosen is Saka (3350 meters high) and Atashkouh (3750 meters high). After that, we will drive to Reineh village in Haraz Road and we will stay at a nice mountain hut.

Day 4Ski tour in Gol-e Zard 3550-meters high

After breakfast, we drive about 30 min up to reach Gol-e Zard and then ride down. We will return to the mountain hut and rest.

Day 5ski tour in Parvaneh 3900-meters high

In the morning we drive to Lasem village and do a full day ski tour in Doberar range up to Parvaneh Peak. At the end return to a mountain hut.

Day 6ski tour in Angemar 3950-meters high

In the morning we drive to Lasem village and do a full day ski tour in Doberar range up to Angemar Peak. In the end, we return to a mountain hut.

Day 7ski in Pashureh 3860-meters high

After breakfast, we drive to Nava village. Full-day ski tour in Pashureh, and then return to the mountain hut.

Day 8Hot spring and depart

After breakfast, we drive to the mineral hot spring village. we enjoy the hot local spring that comes from Damavand volcano. We visit historical Kafarlkeli cave that goes back to 1100 years ago.
